Important limitations

Inspection evidence is based on what’s observable at the time of the visit. We capture photos and ratings for decision support, but we can’t guarantee hidden damage, future failures, or every issue that may appear after purchase.

For full wording, see service.html#limitations.

Important limitations

Our inspection helps you make a purchase decision with clear evidence. It is not an official safety certification.

Not a certification

We do not issue government safety approvals, roadworthiness certificates, or legal compliance guarantees.

Tests have boundaries

We test what is reasonably accessible during the appointment. Some systems may require diagnostics beyond our on-site scope.

Intermittent faults

Not every issue is reproducible on demand. Intermittent faults can be present without showing up during inspection.

Evidence is limited to what we see

Photo callouts and notes reflect observed conditions. Hidden damage, prior repairs, and wear that is not visible may not be captured.

Use the report for next steps

If you plan to act on a risk item, we recommend using the report to guide your mechanic, additional diagnostics, or negotiation.

Scope reminder

Turnaround depends on appointment time and availability. We aim to deliver a decision-ready report quickly, but exact timing can vary.

What you receive in your inspection report

A decision-ready document built around your top priorities, clear photo callouts, and next steps you can act on.

1 Top priorities

The issues that matter most for safety, reliability, and likely repair cost. You will see them grouped by category, with a priority level you can scan quickly.

2 Photo callouts

Photo callouts that point to the exact areas in the car. Each callout is tied to a finding, so you can verify what the inspector saw.

3 Priority levels

A clear risk ranking for each category, including when a concern is attention-needed versus required before purchase. Amber marks only what needs focus.

4 Next steps

Actionable guidance for what to ask the seller, what to check on a test drive, and when an additional specialist review makes sense.

5 Seller questions

A short list of questions you can use during your conversation with the seller, tailored to the findings in your report.

6 Evidence by category

For each category, you will see the structured fields used in the service: rating, photo callouts, notes, and priority level.
